I am writing this letter to inform you of my experience in having a knee replacement. I am 75 years old and was apprehensive in having it done. I could not play golf, walk without pain or do normal things. I decided to have my operation on May 4, 1999. After one week in the hospital I was discharged and told to go to rehab for one month three times a week. Six weeks from the time of my operation I was playing golf again, swimming, and doing a lot of walking without pain. I am very grateful that I went through the operation and feeling no more pain.
